5.1 如果我的赔款裁定发布后获得WTC健康项目的对新疾病的认证，或者如果我有新的损失，我可以修改我的申请吗

是的，您可以在2090年10月1日之前的任何时间修改您的人身伤害索赔，以添加新疾病或提出对新损失的赔偿。您可以在我们的网站上的《表格和资源》下找到有关如何提交修改的完整说明。在已故索赔中（即代表其因9/11相关的符合资格的疾病而死亡的受害者提出的索赔），在VCF完成对赔偿的实质性审核后，您将不会被允许修改您的索赔（例外情况除外）。针对已故索赔的修改的更多信息，可以在VCF《政策和程序》的第5节中找到。

VCF将审核您随修改一起提交的信息，并会通知您我们审核的结果。如果VCF认为您有资格获得对新疾病的赔偿并且您正在要求与该疾病相关的额外损失的赔偿，则您还必须提交赔偿修改。

请注意：您的VCF的赔偿金额并非基于您具有的被认证的疾病的数量，而是取决于这些疾病对您日常生活所造成的严重程度和影响。在许多情况下，添加的疾病被发现有资格并不会改变VCF赔偿的数额，除非新的疾病是癌症，而已经获得的赔偿仅基于非癌症的疾病。

在某些情况下，修改您的索赔并不会改变给您的赔偿金额。您在提交修改之前，请先考虑下面的例子。
