Anthony Gardner has joined the VCF as the Director of Communications and External Affairs, a new position created following the passage of the VCF Permanent Authorization Act. In this position, Anthony will focus on expanding the VCF’s outreach efforts, including developing a strategy to build broader awareness and understanding of the VCF, coordinating with the WTC Health Program and other 9/11 advocacy groups, working with various entities to establish relationships focused on easing the burden on claimants when filing a claim, and developing new outreach materials and enhanced public messaging.
Anthony’s depth of knowledge and his relationships within the 9/11 community, along with his exceptional communication skills and professional experience, present the VCF with an outstanding opportunity to focus on this vital outreach.
Anthony most recently served as Senior Vice President of Government and Community Affairs at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum, and has worked on 9/11- related issues since 2001. He will be based in the VCF’s New York Office.
