City Bar Justice Center Offers Free Legal Clinics to Assist Individuals in Filing a Claim

The New York City Bar Justice Center is offering two free legal clinics this fall for individuals needing assistance in filing claims under the reopened September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF). Clinics will be facilitated by volunteer lawyers who will provide free counsel and advice to people who would like to file a claim under the VCF without an attorney. Those attending will be able to meet with an attorney who will provide information on the eligibility process and will assist in filling out the application form.
